1) The probability of getting hurt is more when we jump from the significant height. Why?
The ground striking velocity while falling from a significant height is more and therefore the effect of the force also will be more . It is because momentum will be more since
Momentum = mass*final velocity.
2) Why do we feel weightlessness during free fall ?
Acceleration due to gravity is the maximin acceleration that can be felt if no force acts on the body . Weight of the body is provided by the support you are getting from the floor or seat i.e when you act against your weight . In space there is no thing that is supporting your weight so you feel weightlessness during free fall
